2017 Cosmetics Issues Forum

Date :
October 3, 2017
Location:
Hearst Tower, NYC

The Council is excited to announce we will be hosting a Cosmetics Issues Forum!  This inaugural event will be a summit on the key issues, opportunities and challenges facing cosmetic and personal care companies. Confirmed speakers include former Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley along with New York State Senator Diane Savino.

As the first female Attorney General of Massachusetts, Coakley has been a national leader in addressing the economic crisis by holding banks accountable and keeping residents in their homes; protected civil rights as the first Attorney General to successfully challenge the Defense of Marriage Act; investigated fraud and corruption; championed major initiatives to address health care and energy costs; and recovered hundreds of millions of dollars back for the taxpayers of Massachusetts. She served as Attorney General from 2007-2015.
New York State Senator Diane J. Savino (Democrat, Independent, Staten Island-Brooklyn)  began her career in public service as a caseworker for New York City’s Child Welfare Administration, providing direct assistance to abused and neglected children. In their endorsement of Senator Savino, the New York Times described her as “scrappy and effective”. Her dedication to her constituents earned her the Staten Island Advance’s “strongest endorsement for a third term”, saying, “no lawmaker works harder and no lawmaker commits herself to the fight for her constituents more than Ms. Savino".

The Forum will have limited seating so REGISTER NOW! For more information, contact Jennifer Harwell.
