REACH
The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals) Regulation is a European approach to chemicals management. REACH applies to all chemicals manufactured or imported into the EU, and entered into force on June 1, 2007. Pre-registration began on June 1, 2008. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is the regulatory agency charged with managing REACH compliance and implementation.
